Role and Facility Information
We are looking for a Locum to support our current full-time physician who is carrying a very full patient load after our 2nd doctor had to move back to Ontario last fall.
Ideally we would like someone to work 3 days a week for us, but are very flexible on dates and days.
We are a very friendly & supportive clinic located on beautiful Quadra Island. Harbourside Medical is only a 10 min ferry ride from Campbell River, and a short walk from the ferry terminal.

Local Resources
We have a pharmacy next door, and the lab tech from Campbell River comes over twice a week for routine lab work, otherwise pts. are given a travel form to get to CR Hospital for diagnostics, consultations, etc.
Emergency Framework
Quadra Island has ambulance services, and an active First Responder group with the Quadra Island Fire Department. We also have an RCMP station on the island.

Accommodation Description
We do have a basic suite above the clinic that is available most of the time, but not for this rotation.. Our office manager will arrange suitable accommodation on Quadra Island, or Campbell River, once a suitable applicant is located.

Rental cars are available in Campbell River, and there is a taxi service on the island, but no public transportation.
