RGPLP - General Practitioner needed for Port McNeill Medical Clinic

Role and Facility Information

Locum coverage under the RGPLP program for a minimum of 5 days (clinic only or clinic+calls). Current vacancy so dates are flexible October through to December.

Small private practice in a rural community, with the support of the RN and MOA. Clinic hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with a closure for lunch from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. You will work in the clinic, with 20 minute appointments per patient. Your first morning will be blocked off for orientation with the MOAs, and will include a tour and general information about the clinic. Your last afternoon will include ample administration time.

MOAs welcome locum on first morning. They are given information about the community, keys, instructions for building procedures.

MOA's and RN will provide orientation to the clinic and information to support introduction to the hospital

Some social programs, occasional events at Community Halls. There is a local private gym (CFL). There are numerous beautiful beaches and forest trails.

Kayaking, golfing, windsurfing and other outdoors activities.
