About the Clinic
Clinic Description
Clinic Composition
5 part-time physicians sharing 2 FTE, 1 nurse, 3 office staff, 1 part-time NP.
Local Resources
Lab, x-ray, pharmacy, physio, social workers, mental heath, public health, home nursing.
Emergency Framework
Ambulance including Air Ambulance services.
Call Expectations
24 hours. ER Department open 9:00 - 4:30 (M-F).
Call for the Sparwood Health Centre ER is shared 1:5 with the Sparwood physicians.
Coverage for Elkford physicians is 8:00-9:00 a.m. and 7:00-9:00 pm on On-Call days in Sparwood.

All types of specialists are available, diabetic nurse educator.

What training is provided for the EMR System
The GP will train the locum or they will set up with IT.
Profile training can be set up with the MOA's providing additional assistance.

Orientation
Activated swipe cards, hands on with binders and manuals, MOA will provide anything that is needed.

The clinic does provide accommodation.
Accommodation Description
Apartments with kitchenette and laundry facilities will be booked by an MOA whenever needed.
