Role and Facility Information

Hope is a beautiful rural community nestled in the BC mountains, but only 2 hours from Vancouver. It is a great location for outdoor enthusiasts. We are a group of very collegial and supportive young physicians who work hard and play hard. I am looking for a locum to cover my family practice and hospital patients 2-3 days/week with the option of ER work. If you are looking for 4-5 days a week in the clinic, we can accommodate this as well. No call or weekend work required. A modern apartment within walking distance of the clinic is available free of charge. The locum is for July 31- Aug 25 or any portion of this.

About the Clinic

Clinic Description

Clinic Composition

The Hope Medical Centre has a total of 9 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners. Several physicians have practice share arrangements. We have a full time LPN and part-time RN in our clinic.

Emergency Framework

The Emergency department at the Fraser Canyon Hospital has 8 beds and about 50 patient visits/24 hours. Emergency room shifts are 8am-6pm or 6pm-8am, with MOCAP payments. There is a physician call room on site.
